What happens when two companies that have been designing patient-oriented services for decades finally operate under one name?
In 2023, Vilua and Vitartis merge to form Vilua Vitartis Service GmbH with locations in Greifswald, Göttingen and Berlin. Around 170 experts from patient support programs, medical hotlines, homecare, care management and digital health services work here today under a common claim: think patienese, act patienese.
The company is managed by Dr. Cyrill Brand and Susanne Starkowski – people who consistently combine patient empowerment, compliance clarity and digital development. The result is a company that not only bundles services, but also attitude, energy and experience. A company that makes care understandable and keeps therapies stable. And one that takes responsibility for the most valuable thing of all: people and their health.
Two paths that matched right from the start
Sometimes two stories run side by side until it becomes clear that they are actually one. Vitartis began in Göttingen in 2004 – with medical hotlines, patient support and services that provide guidance. From the very beginning, the focus has been on direct communication, reliability and closeness to people in sensitive therapy situations.
Years later, Vilua is developing out of the digital and healthcare environment: with strong communication and medical expertise, experience in medical information, HCP communication and the design of patient support programs. Digital solutions and procedural strength are used specifically to make patienese communication, care and programs safe and scalable.
One company provided answers, the other created structure. Both worked for the same people – patients and medical professionals – just from different perspectives. And perhaps it was no coincidence that their names already sounded as if they had belonged together for a long time.
